UXOC believes in the simple practice of "know before you go." By being educated in what you can or can't do we can help keep trails open for us now and those of the future generation.
By knowing what trails are opened and what the limitations are we can all help keep our trails open. This can be done with a quick phone call to the Forest Service: USFS - Uinta-Wasatch-Cache Website or to the BLM: BLM Website
UXOC has members that have been trained in the "Trail Patrol" program. This volunteer program helps extend the efforts of the BLM in patrolling our lands by advocating responsible offroading. In a passive manner, we can help the BLM by being eyes / ears in the backcountry.
